Hey, everyone! I hope your summer is going well. I’ve been spending a lot of time in the city, soaking up all the good music and food Detroit has to offer (and it’s a lot). Coming from someone who hails from a small town, I’m still not used to so many events.
Anyway, I wanted to give you an update and let the world know that I’m still alive and kicking. The Body Shop is still being read by the beta readers but the two that have finished had some good things to say about it. My plans are to revisit the draft at the end of August and bust out a final draft to shop around to agents soon after. It may be a “hard sell” compared to the other fiction out there but I have to give it a shot.
I’ve also started researching and outlining the next two novels. The first is entitled “The Bard of Armageddon” and the main character has already come to life from the first page. The second novel is called “The Library of ___________” (haven’t picked the name yet). So I’ll be spending the rest of the summer working on those, while surveying the literary agent market for a brave agent who wants to foist my goofy little story onto the world.
Thanks for everyone’s support and I’ll check in again soon. For my day-to-day nonsense, be sure to follow my socials and spreading the word never hurt much, either! Peace!
